How to Make Melted Snowman Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk dry ingredients by combining all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter by beating unsalted butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients by mixing in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine dry and wet mixtures on low speed until just blended.
- Shape dough into 12 equal balls (about 2 tbsp each) and space them 2 inches apart on sheets.
- Press marshmallows gently into the center of each dough ball.
- Top with candy: add two chocolate chips for eyes and an orange candy piece for the carrot nose.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and marshmallows puff.
- Decorate once slightly cooled using black icing or edible marker.
