  • 1 cup fresh wheatgrass packed with chlorophyll and nutrients
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice adds natural sweetness
For the Zest and Flavor
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest boosts aroma and adds zest
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger optional, for added spice
For Sweetening and Mixing
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey or agave syrup optional, for sweetness
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water to smooth texture

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash 1 cup fresh wheatgrass and scrub two oranges under cold water.
  2. Feed wheatgrass slowly into your juicer until you yield about ¼ cup wheatgrass juice, taking about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Halve oranges and press each half in a citrus juicer to collect 1 cup fresh orange juice.
  4. Combine wheatgrass juice, orange juice, and ½ cup cold water or coconut water in a blender and blend on medium-high for 10 seconds.
  5. Sprinkle in 1 tsp orange zest and a ½-inch knob of freshly grated ginger; pulse the blender twice.
  6. Drizzle in 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional) and blend on low for 5 seconds.
  7. Pour juice into chilled glasses over ice cubes and garnish with an orange slice or a sprig of mint.
