Preparation
- Wash 1 cup fresh wheatgrass and scrub two oranges under cold water.
- Feed wheatgrass slowly into your juicer until you yield about ¼ cup wheatgrass juice, taking about 1–2 minutes.
- Halve oranges and press each half in a citrus juicer to collect 1 cup fresh orange juice.
- Combine wheatgrass juice, orange juice, and ½ cup cold water or coconut water in a blender and blend on medium-high for 10 seconds.
- Sprinkle in 1 tsp orange zest and a ½-inch knob of freshly grated ginger; pulse the blender twice.
- Drizzle in 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional) and blend on low for 5 seconds.
- Pour juice into chilled glasses over ice cubes and garnish with an orange slice or a sprig of mint.
