Bagel Sandwich
  • 2 pieces Bagels Fresh, preferable plain or everything bagels
  • 6 oz Smoked salmon High-quality, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Soft and spreadable
  • 1/4 cup Red onion Thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 2 sprigs Fresh dill Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
Optional Add-ons
  • 1/2 cup Cucumber slices
  • 1/2 cup Tomato slices
  • 1 pinch Black pepper Freshly ground

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice bagels in half and toast until edges are golden and crisp, about 3–4 minutes.
  2. Generously slather room-temperature cream cheese on each warm bagel half.
  3. Drape thin ribbons of smoked salmon over one cheese-topped half.
  4. Arrange thinly sliced red onion and capers evenly over the salmon.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice and sprinkle chopped dill on top.
  6. Top with the remaining bagel halves, press gently, then slice diagonally and serve.
