Ingredients
  

For the Halloumi and Veggies
  • 8 oz Halloumi cheese Firm block for perfect golden searing
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Ripe and juicy
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives Pitted and sliced
For the Herbs and Seasoning
  • 1 cup Fresh basil Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh oregano or thyme Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves Minced
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper To taste
  • Sea salt Use sparingly

Method
 

How to Make Skillet Halloumi
  1. Prep ingredients: Slice halloumi into ½-inch slabs, halve cherry tomatoes, pit and slice olives, then mince garlic cloves and roughly chop fresh herbs.
  2. Heat skillet: Warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sear halloumi: Carefully lay cheese slices in the hot skillet, cooking until each side is golden brown and crisp.
  4. Sauté veggies: Push seared halloumi to the skillet’s edge, add another drizzle of olive oil, then toss in tomatoes and olives.
  5. Add garlic & herbs: Stir in minced garlic, fresh basil, and oregano, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Finish & serve: Remove skillet from heat, transfer to a warm plate, and drizzle pan juices over.
