  • 1 pound Fresh shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound Green beans crisp-tender
  • 1 cup Creamy sauce base mix of cream, chicken broth, and flour
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For Seasoning & Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

Method
 

Casserole Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant and translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the aromatics, then whisk in chicken broth and cream until smooth. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 4 minutes.
  4. Stir in green beans and shrimp, season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turns pink and beans are bright green, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the shrimp and bean mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan in a small bowl, tossing to coat crumbs.
  7. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes, until the topping is golden and the casserole is bubbly at the edges.
  9. Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
