Instructions
  1. Rinse calamari and pat dry with paper towels. Season rings with salt and pepper and let rest for 5 minutes.

  3. Add sliced peppers and onions. Cook for 4–5 minutes until onions turn translucent.
  4. Push veggies to pan edge. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Turn heat to high, arrange calamari in a single layer. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side until opaque.
  6. Remove from heat, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired. Toss gently to coat.
