Method
 

Preparing the Green Beans
  1. Trim the green beans by snapping off both ends.
  2. Blanch the beans in a pot of salted boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and immediately plunge into ice water.

  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking the Green Beans
  1. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the blanched beans to the skillet, tossing gently for 2 minutes.
