How to Make Cloud Eggs Baked in the Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate each egg carefully, placing the whites into a large, grease-free bowl and setting each yolk aside on a small plate.
  3. Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, glossy peaks form—about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Shape and scoop or pipe the whipped whites into two fluffy mounds on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 3 minutes, until edges turn lightly golden and centers set slightly.
  6. Nestle the reserved yolk into the center of each cloud and season with black pepper or grated cheese.
  7. Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 2–3 minutes until yolks are slightly runny.
