How to Make Cheese-Stuffed Jalapeños
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice each jalapeño lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, blend cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing gently.
  5. If using bacon, wrap each stuffed pepper half with a strip and secure with a toothpick.
  6. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
