Making the Glaze

  2. Cool the glaze off heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a coat-like consistency.
Assembling the Skewers
  1. Thread each cherry tomato, mozzarella ball, and basil leaf onto a 4-inch skewer, alternating for color.
  2. Arrange skewers neatly on a large serving platter, fanning them out.
  3. Drizzle the cooled balsamic glaze evenly over each skewer, and finish with a fresh crack of black pepper.
