How to Make Green Detox Smoothie
  1. Place spinach and kale in a colander. Rinse under cold water until leaves feel crisp, then gently pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Core and chop the green apple into uniform chunks. Peel and slice the frozen banana into pieces.
  3. Add greens, apple chunks, frozen banana, and cucumber into your blender. Pulse on high for 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Drizzle in fresh lemon juice and toss in ginger slices. Blend on medium speed for 10 seconds.
  5. Pour in coconut water or plain water in ¼ cup increments. Blend briefly until you reach your preferred creamy texture.
  6. Divide smoothie into glasses over ice. Top with fresh mint leaves and a sprinkle of chia seeds.
