- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can (15 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Noodles: Boil egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine tuna, peas, soup, milk, cooked noodles, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Add Cheese: Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top if using.
- Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
