- 1 lb ground beef (substitute with ground turkey or chicken if desired)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream (use Greek yogurt as an alternative)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, noodles, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
