Instructions

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture:
    In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich:
    Lay out one slice of bread. Place one slice of cheese, followed by the turkey or chicken, another slice of cheese, and top with the second slice of bread.
  3. Dip the Sandwich:
    Carefully dip the assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are thoroughly coated.
  4. Fry the Sandwich:
    Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Once melted, place the sandwich in the pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Finish and Serve:
