- 1 lb ground turkey or beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef or vegetable broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Instant Pot: Turn on the Instant Pot to the sauté mode. Add the ground turkey or beef, diced onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and the vegetables are softened.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in the diced tomatoes, broth, elbow macaroni, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Pressure Cook: Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Select high pressure and set the timer for 6 minutes.
- Quick Release: Once the cooking time is up, perform a quick release by carefully turning the valve to venting. Be cautious of the hot steam.
- Final Touches: Stir the mixture well. If desired, top with shredded cheese while the goulash is still hot to allow it to melt. Serve immediately and enjoy!
