Ingredients
Scale
- 3 Granny Smith apples or any green apples
- 6–8 celery stalks, no leaves
- 2 heads of baby romaine lettuce or 1 head of any lettuce
- 1–2 teaspoons blue spirulina powder, more for a darker blue
Instructions
- Wash the fruits and vegetables. Ensure that the apples, celery, and lettuce are thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt or pesticides.
- Prepare the produce for juicing. If your juicer has a wide opening, you can keep the produce whole. Otherwise, chop them into smaller pieces that fit your juicer’s feed chute.
- Juice the ingredients. Feed the apples, celery, and lettuce into your juicer. Collect the juice in a large pitcher.
- Strain the juice (optional). If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve. This step is optional and based on personal preference.
- Mix in the blue spirulina powder. Using a whisk or milk frother, stir in 1-2 teaspoons of blue spirulina powder until well mixed. Add more powder if you desire a darker blue color.
- Serve and enjoy. Pour the juice over ice in glasses or jars, and savor your vibrant blue creation!
