Blue Superfood Juice

  • Author: Sophia

Ingredients

Scale

  • 3 Granny Smith apples or any green apples
  • 68 celery stalks, no leaves
  • 2 heads of baby romaine lettuce or 1 head of any lettuce
  • 12 teaspoons blue spirulina powder, more for a darker blue

Instructions

  1. Wash the fruits and vegetables. Ensure that the apples, celery, and lettuce are thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt or pesticides.
  2. Prepare the produce for juicing. If your juicer has a wide opening, you can keep the produce whole. Otherwise, chop them into smaller pieces that fit your juicer’s feed chute.
  3. Juice the ingredients. Feed the apples, celery, and lettuce into your juicer. Collect the juice in a large pitcher.
  4. Strain the juice (optional). If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve. This step is optional and based on personal preference.
  5. Mix in the blue spirulina powder. Using a whisk or milk frother, stir in 1-2 teaspoons of blue spirulina powder until well mixed. Add more powder if you desire a darker blue color.
  6. Serve and enjoy. Pour the juice over ice in glasses or jars, and savor your vibrant blue creation!
