BBQ Prawns with Chilli, Ginger, Coriander & Fresh Lime recipe

  • 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 red chillies, chopped
  • 1 knob of ginger, grated
  • A handful of fresh coriander, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade:
    In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chopped chillies, grated ginger, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Marinate the Prawns:
    Add the prawns to the marinade and toss them to ensure they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Preheat the BBQ or Grill:
    Set your BBQ or grill to medium heat in preparation for cooking the prawns.
  4. Cook the Prawns:
    Skewer the prawns or place them directly on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    Garnish the cooked prawns with fresh coriander and an extra squeeze of lime juice before serving for an added burst of freshness.
