- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1–2 red chillies, chopped
- 1 knob of ginger, grated
- A handful of fresh coriander, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chopped chillies, grated ginger, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful marinade. - Marinate the Prawns:
Add the prawns to the marinade and toss them to ensure they are well coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors. - Preheat the BBQ or Grill:
Set your BBQ or grill to medium heat in preparation for cooking the prawns. - Cook the Prawns:
Skewer the prawns or place them directly on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. - Garnish and Serve:
Garnish the cooked prawns with fresh coriander and an extra squeeze of lime juice before serving for an added burst of freshness.
