Air Fryer Sticky Salmon Bowls recipe

  • Author: Sophia

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 3 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari (for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • Cooked rice (or quinoa for a healthier alternative)
  • Steamed broccoli or any veggies you like
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Marinade:
In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder until well combined. This will give your salmon that irresistible sticky glaze.
  2. Marinate the Salmon:
Coat the salmon fillets in the marinade, making sure each piece is thoroughly covered. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Air Fry:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket. Cook them for 8-10 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a beautiful caramelized finish.
  4. Assemble the Bowl:
In a serving bowl, add a portion of cooked rice or quinoa. Arrange the steamed veggies alongside the rice, and place the sticky salmon fillet on top.
  5. Garnish:
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the bowl for added flavor and a garnish that looks as good as it tastes.
